Office Manager

Falcon Camp Services Inc. and Falcon Contracting Ltd. are a locally owned and operated group of companies based in Prince George, BC. We are a diverse organization specializing in turn-key camp catering and heavy civil construction fields for Oil & Gas, Mining and Forestry industry clients.  

Falcon is on the fast road to company growth, with an ever expanding portfolio of exciting projects across northern British Columbia. To further expand our business, we are looking for a Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Prince George, BC head office. 

This a pivotal role within our organization as we will be counting on this person to manage the day-to-day office functions to keep the office running like a well oiled machine. We are seeking a jack(or jill)-of-all-trades with an extensive accounting and administration background. 

Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing all day-to-day and monthly bookkeeping duties
  • Ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on-time
  • Keeping general ledgers and bank accounts reconciled and up to date
  • Monitoring status of monthly accounting tasks and ensuring all deadline are met
  • Acting as leader to pro-actively and intuitively guide activities both inside and outside the office
  • Creating new and enhancing existing processes through consultation with senior management

For this role, we are seeking an individual with 5 to 10 years of extensive accounting and office management experience. This position requires sound technical accounting skills, advanced proficiency in computer applications including Simply Accounting (Sage 50) and Microsft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to work well with both staff and management.
